Our memories are a treasure trove of information that can be used to express our thoughts, ignite creativity, heal ourselves, make sense of the world, and help others. Through meditation, prompts, and other methods, we will write and share our stories (fiction, nonfiction, poetry – whatever works for you) with the group and comment on them with support and encouragement. Specific exercises throughout the day will open your mind to new ways of working with words, thoughts, images, sensations, and feelings. A truly whole-body sensory experience awaits you!
We’ll create work that you can build upon or use to bolster your current projects. No experience necessary! I’ll guide you through the process. Bring a notebook and pen or a laptop. Wear walking shoes and comfy clothes. Dress warmly for a short hike in the woods. Schedule includes a 30 minute lunch break.
