Changeling: Crossroads – Live Action Role Play (LARP)

Join us for an interactive, immersive, theatrical event about the Fae, children of the world of Dreams, trapped in the real world. Participants will take on the role of a Fae character and engage in courtly intrigue similar to a Murder Mystery show. Costuming is welcome but not required, and staff will assist new players in creating a character they would like to portray.

The Courts are at war, the forces of the Seelie and those loyal to Princess Lenore are storming the walls of Tara Nar in order to win back her throne, that has been kept from her by the High Regent and the Shadow Court. The Fae of Baltimore hold a powerful trod, a pathway into the Dreaming world, that could turn the tide of the war in favor of those who control it, and while the Unseelie Countess of Baltimore has sought to avoid being embroiled in the conflict, there are many among her vassals who are not willing to remain neutral. The actions of these Fae, remote though they may seem from the center of the conflict, could shape the course of the Kingdom.

This game is set in the World of Darkness, a world like our own but with monsters such as vampires and werewolves prowling the night and mages threatening to break reality for their own amusement. The Fae are creatures native to the Dreaming, where the dreams and creativity draw life. They are imaginary and mythical creatures, but to those who believe in them they are real. Those who refuse to accept their existence, however, can cause them immense harm. Changelings must struggle to be themselves in a society that wants them to conform to banality.

So, what type of dream or myth will you embody? A haughty noble elf, a wild satyr, a brutish troll, a delicate nymph, a grotesque ghoul, a helpful brownie, an ingenuitive goblin? Almost anything is possible.
