Meet the Band:
Rusty Sal is made up of some of Baltimore’s finest Americana musicians. Upright bassist Alex Lacquement and drummer EJ Shaull-Thompson lay down the groove, Lucas Chohany delivers the signature country twang on lead guitar, and Letitia VanSant’s powerhouse vocals bring it all to life. What started as friends harmonizing for fun quickly grew into one of the city’s most beloved country dance nights. Inspired by the likes of Hank Williams, Buck Owens, and Loretta Lynn, the band is carrying the honky-tonk tradition forward with their own fresh take.
