Fresh off the release of her new solo EP “Big Shot”, recorded in Nashville and produced by Grammy award winner, Matt Rollings, Talbot Mayo has been described as “one to watch.” As a singer/songwriter and musician, she delivers memorable performances every time she takes the stage. Talbot’s writing weaves together a variety of genres and sounds to create something unique but still relatable. Rooted in old-time bluegrass and country standards, Talbot’s music also draws influence from honky-tonk and even modern alternative rock to provide a broad appeal while maintaining an unmistakably raw and rootsy identity.
Backing up Talbot are bandmates Luke Chohany on lead guitar, Dave Rich on drums, and her dad, Bill Mayo, on upright bass. Familiar to many regional music fans, these players have performed with a variety of local acts and have decades of experience between them.
